Limo or Pizza?

pizza

One of the most frequent questions we get at Century West Limousines is “How many people can fit in a limo?”.  This is a rather loaded question.  It’s akin to asking your local pizza parlor “How many slices are in your pizza”?  Without knowing the SIZE of said pizza, the number of slices is hardly relevant.  If they offer a 16 inch pizza, whether it’s cut into 10 slices or 52, it’s the same amount of food.  Same with a limousine; the number of passengers depends on which limo you are asking about, and the size and configuration of that limo.

So, when you call a limousine service, the best course of action is to simply tell them “I need a limo for “X number of people”, followed by the simple question “What are my options?”.  This will get the ball rolling, and the representative on the phone would then be able to go over the various vehicle types, configurations and capacities.

They may ask if you prefer a traditional ‘sedan-based’ limousine, such as the Chrysler 300 or Lincoln Town Car, a cross-over limousine, such as the Lincoln MKT, an SUV limousine, such as the Cadillac Escalade (shown above), or the Hummer H2.  Depending on the fleet of the service, you may also be offered a van-based limo like the Mercedes Luxury Coach, or a limousine based on a bus platform, like the Freightliner Limo bus (shown below).

Some of the choices offer the ability to stand up, some offer toilets, all offer luxury seating, bar, fiber optic lighting and high end digital entertainment systems.  Your choice at this point is based on your personal preferences, and/or the recommendations of the service provider.

Hopefully using these tips, and taking the time to do a little research on the fleet(s) of the services you are considering, you will be able to come to the most informed decision possible, and snag the perfect limo for your event.  And maybe on the way you can ask the chauffeur to pull over for some pizza.  Whether that’s a slice or a whole pie… that’s up to you!  But you may want to offer your driver some, as that’s just rude to fill a car with the smell of pizza and keep it all to yourself!

Guy’s Night Out!

OK, so we all know the “girls” have their nights, so we can have ours, right?

Guy's Night Out 1

So, now that that’s settled, what to do?  Dinner?  Bar hopping?  Clubbing?  All of the above?  Sure!  But… who’s gonna draw the short straw and be the designated driver tonight?  No one is raising their hand.  So what’s it going to be… Cab?  Uber?  No, not tonight.  There’s 8 of you, and you want to live it up in style.  It’s settled… you need a limo!

Guy's Night Out 2

So now, which limo?  Well, our website can help get you started, as can a conversation with one of our reservationists, but some suggestions for you now would be the Lincoln Town Car stretch limo, the Chrysler 300 stretch limo, the Cadillac Escalade super stretch limo, and the Hummer H2 super stretch limo.  They can seat from 8 to 18 people.  Larger group than that… go for the luxury limo bus.

Whichever you choose, you’ll travel in safetly and style, with no concerns about getting there, where to park once you’re there, and most importantly, if the drinks are flowing, you won’t be behind the wheel.

Make it a night to remember.  And speaking of remembering… remember this; what happens in the limo, stays in the limo.  Enough said.

Executive Transportation

Many people, when they think of limousines, think of weddings, proms, or nights on the town.  All of those things are typical uses for a limousine, but what often gets overlooked is corporate travel needs.

business-limo

Whether it’s a ride to a local airport, a trip to a business meeting, or entertaining the office for a job well done, all the options that are available for traditional limousine clients are also there for executives.  Granted, an understated Lincoln Town Car may be the preferred choice over, say… a super stretch Hummer H2 limo, but you never know when a 40 passenger limo bus may come in handy, say for a corporate weekend retreat.

BUS-40 -- Outside

Airport transportation is always something that comes up.  Why use a smelly cab when you can arrive in style and comfort – with room for all your luggage – in a luxury sedan or executive SUV?  There are even hybrid vehicles available if you want to make a green impression with clients.

Las Vegas Cabs
And if you’re not into the idea of a big, flashy stretch limousine, you can get one of our understated but classy black sedans, SUVs, vans or hybrids.  The best part is not having to search for a parking space, and making the mad scramble to the terminal with bags in hand.  You’ll get dropped off curb-side, right in front of your airline terminal.

Quinceañera Limousine

What a special time for your daughter.  You’ve gotten her the dress of her dreams, rented the hall, made arrangements at the church, hired the band for the party, but wait… what are you forgetting?  Of course!  The limo!

Quinceanera 1

Your Quinceañera limousine needs to be just as special as your Quinceañera. It’s a large part of the celebration.  When it comes to limos, we know how to make her special day even more special.  Ride in style, luxury and comfort to all of the destinations.  She’ll be a princess all day, and you won’t have to concern yourself with driving, directions or traffic.

Any of our late model Lincoln and Chrysler stretch limousines will work well.  Or for a larger group, try one of our super stretch SUV limousines, such as the Cadillac Escalade or the eye catching Hummer H2. And for the largest groups / families, our luxury limo bus will fit the bill perfectly.

All of the limos in our fleet come with complementary sparkling cider, bottled water and ice. And our professional chauffeurs will make sure everything is just right on your daughter’s special day.

Quinceanera 2

Depending on the size of your family, or your plans, a larger sized limousine can transport all of your friends and family to and from the church, the park for pictures, and then to the final reception hall party. We can also arrange for more than one limousine, or even a passenger van or SUV for the parents.  Whatever you need for your Quinceanera, we can help make it a day to remember.
